Tales From The RV Park!
Welcome back, Roamers! Today, we're delving into some PG-13 content, so buckle up for some interesting encounters we've had in RV parks. As full-time RV dwellers, Cindy and I have seen our fair share of quirky situations, but some moments definitely stand out more than others.
Picture this: a serene RV park, the desert sun beating down, and then out of nowhere, a hailstorm hits. Now, you might think everyone would be hunkering down inside, but oh no, not in our park. People were opening their shades wide, eager to witness the rare desert hail. Little did they know, those open shades turned their RVs into glass houses, revealing more than they bargained for.
It's a common oversight – forgetting that with the lights on inside, everyone outside can see right in. Trust us, we've learned the importance of keeping those shades drawn, especially after some unexpected encounters.
One day, while walking our dog Bucky, I stumbled upon a rather revealing scene. A neighboring RV had its shades wide open, and there, in all his glory, stood a man drying himself off after a shower. Not exactly the sight I was hoping for during a casual stroll.
But wait, it gets even more interesting. Ever heard about the pineapple code? Apparently, if you spot a pineapple flag or decoration outside an RV, it signifies a couple's interest in, well, let's just say a more adventurous lifestyle. It's like a secret invitation to get to know your neighbors in a whole new way.
Now, we're all for diversity and living your truth, but sometimes boundaries are a good thing. We've had our fair share of invitations, from coffee dates that weren't just about caffeine to witnessing some impromptu performances through oversized RV windows. Let's just say, some things cannot be unseen.
But amidst the chaos, there's always a reminder to practice situational awareness. Our RV walls may be thin, but that doesn't mean we want a front-row seat to every neighbor's private moments. And while we're all about acceptance, there are certain sights we'd rather not stumble upon during our daily walks.
So, to all our fellow RV enthusiasts out there, a friendly reminder: draw those shades, keep it classy, and maybe reconsider your outdoor decor choices. And if you haven't already, check out our original "Neighbors" video for a G-rated glimpse into RV park life.
Until next time, happy roaming!
